TOYS, ALPHABET AND SEASONS

Hello families and friends,

Once again we are happy to show you what we have been up to during our English classes. It’s incredible how time has flown by this school year, we are almost done! 

Our Elephants have very much enjoyed learning about toys and games! This lesson gave us the opportunity to express ourselves, learn very useful vocabulary and one of the most important things; reinforce the message “we need to ask for permission, say thank you and please when we are playing!” Making a kite was a very pleasurable activity to close this learning process!

The horses are working on the alphabet. We have been singing the ABC song, coloring the letters, and playing in different ways to reinforce them. It has been a challenge to fine objects and find out the letter that corresponds with them, and they feel wonderful when they did it! 

The Giraffes are working on their last unit, which is all about the four seasons of the year. As you can see, we have been learning about the characteristics of each season through different art activities, games and Thinking Routines like the bar graph and Venn diagram. We have loved to see and express through art how one tree can change depending on the season. We also enjoyed playing with Fortune Tellers!
