At Magnòlia we accompany children so that they learn in an active and meaningful way, connecting what they experience with emotions. We create environments rich in experiences, play and experimentation, where they can discover the world at their own pace. Emotional education plays a central role, because we know that emotions are the basis for comprehensive, healthy and balanced development.

The Culture of Thinking is the latest addition to our project. We are a VESS accredited centre, after five years of training, and we work with thinking routines and habits from an early age. This perspective is integrated with methodologies such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia, always through play, the sensory world and experimentation.

The whole early years stage, from 0 to 6. The first cycle (I0, I1 and I2) is a centre authorised by the Department of Education and receives a partial subsidy from the Generalitat and the Diputació de Barcelona, which partly reduces the cost for families. The second cycle (I3, I4 and I5) is state-funded. From I3, children have a guaranteed place at Camí Educació, our linked primary and secondary school, and at Stucom for the Batxillerat: after I5 they move on to primary school without pre-registering again. In the 0 to 3 age group we do not use screens, as we prioritise direct experience, play and the relationship with the environment.

The bond is the basis of everything. At Magnòlia we take great care of the relationship with each child and their family, offering a close, warm and safe environment. Emotional support is present from day one, with active listening and full presence.

Yes, and we do it in a very respectful way. We adapt to the rhythm of each child and family, accompanying them calmly and confidently.

With an individualised settling-in programme, so that each child feels safe and welcome from the first day.

You are an essential part of our community. We share our day-to-day, involve you in the project and encourage open and constant communication.

Yes. The entire team is made up of teachers and early years technicians with experience and continuous training, always up to date on best practices.

Yes. We have a psychologist who works with the educational team and families, monitoring, providing support and offering guidance when necessary.

Yes, the school has direct access to Dr. Massaguer, our reference pediatrician, through an online service that allows us to quickly consult any health questions that may arise during the school day. This service is for internal use and helps us to act with medical criteria when necessary, always informing families of any situation.

Yes. In each classroom there is an English-speaking educator (except for the babies' classroom) who accompanies the children throughout the day. We work with natural immersion in Catalan, Spanish and English, respecting the rhythm of each child.

There are two educators in each classroom, including the babies' room, which allows for very individualised attention, above what the regulations require. One speaks Catalan and the other English (except in the babies' class).

Yes. We are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with early and late care to help with work-life balance.

The first cycle (ages 0 to 3) is open from September to July, including Easter and Christmas. The second cycle (ages 3 to 6) follows the school calendar from September to June, with a holiday service in English at Christmas, Easter, late June and July. Yes, we have our own kitchen at the centre. We offer organic and healthy menus, supervised by a dietitian, with local products such as organic fruit and vegetables, organic meat, fresh fish from the market and fresh eggs. We cook in the oven and with olive oil, and mealtimes are accompanied by our teaching team, to guarantee a calm and caring environment.

We have a dietitian who adapts the menus and we work in coordination with families to guarantee safe and adequate nutrition.

We follow strict hygiene and disinfection protocols and encourage healthy habits.

We are a centre authorised by the Department of Education, with adapted facilities, access control and protocols to guarantee the safety of children.

We have up-to-date emergency plans and carry out regular drills to ensure a safe response.

Yes. We have a playground with grass, trees, a wooden playhouse and a sandpit, designed for free play and outdoor learning, and a psychomotor room.

We work with positive discipline and conflict resolution, promoting respect and empathy.

Yes. We offer English with our own project, Magnolia Makers, music (music theory and piano) and violin with the Suzuki method in English. See schedules and prices.

Yes. From I2 to I5, from April children have a weekly swimming course at the Can Dragó pools and, in June and July, an intensive course two days a week (subject to availability). More information. During the school year they also go on educational and recreational outings.

We hold meetings, send regular reports and use the KinderTIC app to share each child's day-to-day.
